Abstract :
This paper presents a 6-12 GHz band-pass filter with low insertion loss, high selectivity, and high suppression of out-of-band frequencies up to 60 GHz. The application is in a module that upconverts the frequency of a modulated signal cost effectively. The aim of the high and wide out-of-band suppression is to ensure a clear output signal, unaffected by spurious, originating from non-linearities in the vector signal generator and module. The operation of the filter is demonstrated with experimental results.
