Abstract
This article applies to electromagnetic compatibility problems and protect them against the influence of external effects of electromagnetic field and emission of electromagnetic field of electronic devices to the outside environment. Its purpose is to present problems for the selection of materials and techniques for shielding objects. The paper presents the design techniques of metal constructions to compromising emanations and to protect them against the influence of the impact of external electromagnetic fields. Also presented the stages of designing of shields according to the the value required of shielding effectiveness and the required safety level of the object.
