Abstract
This paper describes an inter-area power flow map and market structure for South Korea in Northeast Asia (NEA). These interconnection maps can be selected depending on scenarios involving possible KEPCO power transmission lines for South Korea in NEA. First, we describe a power flow analysis for the KEPCO 2007 power system data in South Korea. We then describe using this data with the PSS/E 28 version tool for an inter-area flow simulation. We drew a power flow map from simulated data. Then, we describe a comparative study we is performed. Second, we present recent market changes in South Korea and then the market structure in a NEA survey. In this paper, we describe the power flow between inter-areas for the KEPCO power system in South Korea, and we describe the resulting power flow data as utilized by the market structure after interconnections.
