Abstract
Summary form only given. The status of a prototype solid-state fixed-range thermal voltage converter (TVC), intended for use in factory test equipment is described. The converter uses an RMS sensor that is fast, accurate, and easy to use and has additional characteristics that can be exploited in the future. It is expected to play a substantial role in alternating voltage metrology.<>
