Abstract :
The relayed multicast control protocol (RMCP) is an application-level control protocol that constructs and manages relayed multicast network to support Internet group communication over the current unicast-based Internet. In this paper, we address the design and implementation of relayed multicast control protocol for 1-to-n multicast service which needs to control a number of multiple sessions. In order to evaluate the performance, we show the multicast data delivery among MAs (multicast agents) constructed by RMCP control messages over the test bed.
