Abstract :
Based on dynamic shift-share analysis, this paper studies the competitiveness of high-tech industry in the eastern, central and western areas in China from 2000 to 2010. The empirical results show that: On the whole, the competitiveness of high-tech industry has emerged a transferring tendency from eastern to central areas. In the process of development, the eastern, central and western areas formed their own competitive industries. On the basis of the study results, this article puts forward the recommendations for the improvement of high-tech industry´s regional competitiveness.
