Abstract :
The paper deals with the great principles of the CRONE control. If the first generation CRONE strategy confers robustness on stability degree by reducing the phase margin variations by means of a constant phase CRONE regulator, the second generation CRONE strategy cancels these variations directly by means of a variable phase CRONE regulator. The third generation CRONE strategy is characterized by an open loop Black-Nichols Locus which forms an indifferent direction straight line segment around the unit gain frequency. This segment, called template, is used to construct damping contours in the Black-Nichols plane
