Abstract
Ubiquitous computing is a concept that has gained great importance around the world where major projects are being developed about this topic. Ubiquitous systems have several applications in many fields as industry, education and health, among others. In the latter, ubiquitous systems serve to support both the patient and health professionals to improve healthcare, through efficient access to critical information to diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of the patient. This document shows a platform for the creation of health-oriented ubiquitous services which permits the development of ubiquitous systems in the health domain, the selection mechanisms of the physiological and context variables and finally the implementation of a prototype to validate the platform.
