Abstract
An analysis of the published experimental results responsible for the periodic structures formation under the action of series of linear polarized pulses of femtosecond laser radiation with condensed matter has been made. The examples of spatial structures formation with periods lower than optical diffraction limit in a condensed matter have been found and interpreted on a nonlinear mathematical model of one-dimensional unimodal logistic mapping, describing the multiple-two period change with a control parameter.
