Abstract
In the NGN environment, JSLEE is considered the most widely used platform to provide telecommunication services, but so far, it provides only static composition capabilities. The static composition enables to create new services that use existing services components, but these components can´t be replaced during runtime because they are pre-established. Then, it is necessary to complement the JSLEE functionalities with dynamic reconfiguration and composition schemes to resolve runtime failures in the services. Therefore, we propose an architecture to support telecommunication service composition and reconfiguration when occur runtime fails in service components and we also present the results of performance test of a prototype developed in JSLEE to evaluate this proposal.
