Abstract
Engineering change has become an important issue for manufacturing industry since it can be proposed by any participant of supply chain and can occur throughout the whole product life cycle. This paper provides an engineering change management reference model, which combines engineering operation & execution, engineering drawing & document management, and product configuration & BOM management. The management information system framework of engineering change is also highlighted to improve the operation efficiency.
