Abstract :
This paper presents a miniaturized energy-harvester for high-efficiently generating electric-power in a wide frequency-range. A magnetic inertial mass is used to couple energy from ambient vibration and intermittently excites the frequency increased generators (FIG) by repulsive magnetic force. Then the FIGs convert this energy into a high frequency electric energy. The non-contact repulsive-force excited energy-harvester is advantageous in large power-output and reliable working-life. The fabricated device is able to work in wide operating range. At 1g input acceleration, 4.45mW peak-power is generated.
