Abstract :
A new hybrid driving scheme for the SRs of the ACF converters is proposed in this paper. The rectifier SR SR1 is driving by a current-driven scheme and the freewheeling SR SR2 is driving by complementary control with a third winding. With this new hybrid driving scheme, the body diode conduction problem of SRs can almost be eliminated and hence efficiency of the converter can be greatly improved. Theoretical analyses are presented and verified by experimental results.
