Abstract :
A linear time-varying filter with the characteristic of variable bandwidth is proposed for noise reduction of signals with time-varying bandwidth and decomposition of multicomponent signals into components. The proposed filters are composed of constant coefficients and differential operators with a time-varying coefficient. Frequency analysis of the proposed filter is given. Also, the compensation of time-varying delay due to linear phase is discussed
