Abstract :
Mixed analog-digital design is required for all system design. Good examples are delta-sigma convertors on the lower level of complexity, and RF transceivers on a higher level. Both require design methodologies which provide hierarchy and automation of some design tasks. They are highlighted in this text followed by two design examples. MOST models are addressed first however
