Abstract :
The ability to quantitatively describe metabolic fluxes through metabolic networks has been long desired, especially to describe the dynamic behavior of the fluxes and some important metabolites of a living cell or creature. In this paper, we applied the penalty function methods to analyze the dynamic flux distribution and predict the metabolite concentrations of the metabolic networks of E.coli by introducing a special Heaviside function. The results showed the precisely predictions of the metabolite concentrations then the exist methods.
