Abstract
Developing a new driving method for a brushless DC motor, the authors report a manner of motor operation by using a “vector chart” in this paper, and make the feedback operation clear in the method. As a result, the motor is driven at more than 16,000 RPM and starts quickly without any sensing elements in the motor, i.e. is a sensorless driving motor
