Abstract :
TJ-II is a medium-size stellarator of the heliac-type under construction in Madrid, Spain. The project is in its final assembly phase and is expected to start operation in autumn 1996. This paper provides an overview of the TJ-II project from the engineering and manufacturing point of view with particular emphasis on the comprehensive test program and its results
