Abstract
In this paper, a novel control scheme based on the field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) is proposed herein, which is applied to controlling a zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) buck converter. Without changing controller parameters and system topology and only with modifying pulse-width-modulation (PWM) control signals, the transient load response can be upgraded, especially from no load to rated load. In order to verify the proposed control scheme, there are some simulation and experimental results provided in addition to detailed description of the operation principle.
