Abstract :
This paper illustrates the low light load efficiency issue of a coupled inductor laptop voltage regulator (VR). Solutions to solve this low light load efficiency issue are investigated. Experiments are implemented and the proposed solutions are verified by the experimental results. They are promising solutions for the future of laptop VRs.
