Abstract
This paper introduces the main features of Helwan SLR and analysis date recorded by the station about tectonic motion and Earth sensing by monitoring the satellites Lageos-1 and Topex. The ranging precision of Helwan SLR station has been continually improved from the original value of several meters (when constructed in 1974) down to a centimeters.
