Abstract
The product adopted by the author is VisSim(TM). It is designed for IBM compatible PC´s with Windows 3.1+ and Windows 95, also Windows NT operating platforms. This software package is used by several prestigious engineering and industrial enterprises around the world for industrial process design, process control, and control optimisation. VisSim(TM) is a highly comprehensive modelling and simulation environment for developing continuous, discrete, multi-rate and hybrid system models and running dynamic simulations on IBM PCs and compatibles. It is able to work and exchange data with other software applications including Excel and Lotus 123 spreadsheets. Here, the author has selected some standard problems drawn from the field of pharmacokinetics including some of the earlier supporting research work on digitalis (digoxin) and DPH (diphenylhydantoin)
