Abstract :
Data broadcasting can be defined as “the delivery of “data” (i.e. not audio or video) using broadcast transmissions”. Some data services (e.g. teletext) are intended for reception by the general public, whereas others (e.g. paging) are aimed at an individual or a “closed group of users”. This paper suggests future trends in data broadcasting, in terms of technology and the competitive environment
