Abstract :
The theoretical expression is presented in this study to predict the early minus late power (EMLP) code tracking performance with residual frequency shift and finite front-end bandwidth. On basis of the expression and numerical simulation, the impact on the code tacking performance of Doppler hopping caused by radio frequency hopping of DS/FH signal for TT&C as well as tracking system parameters is analyzed. Simulation results point out that measures like removing Doppler hopping and the carrier aided technique with narrow discriminator spacing as well as narrow loop bandwidth could guarantee DS/FH signal in TT&C system with required code tracking precision. Both theoretical and simulation results provide valuable references for the code tracking system design of DS/FH signal for TT&C.
