Abstract
This paper describes the authors´ new 12 kV and 24 kV metal-enclosed vacuum switchgear which housed their new vacuum circuit breaker and vacuum interrupters. The switchgear accommodates full mechanical interlocks and an internal arc fault proof structure for personnel safety. It also features a mono-stage vacuum circuit breaker compartment or a two stage vacuum circuit breakers compartment for space saving
