Abstract :
IAT has adopted a Career-Technical Education program in direct response to the UAE needs of well-prepared Emirati scientists, engineers, and technicians who can rise to the challenges of the 21st century. The IAT curriculum is designed to maintain a balance between a rigorous core of academic subjects that develop the knowledge and skills necessary for students to transition into postsecondary education, and career cluster courses that provide professional and technical knowledge and skills that enhance employability in specific career clusters. IAT spares no means to provide students with state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops that offer the best hands-on training. IAT students are assessed on acquired knowledge and skills measured in relation to course-related objectives and outcomes, including a graduation project.
