  • Abstract
    In this paper, a novel low complexity integer frequency offset estimation algorithm is derived for broadcast type orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Different from conventional algorithm, the power detection technique and signed bits of subcarriers are exploited, so the algorithm complexity is lowered greatly. Simulation results have demonstrated the robust performance of the proposed algorithm in double-selective channel and AWGN channel. Moreover, the proposed algorithm has an effect of lowering estimator´s complexity.
