Abstract
Because of the pressure of foodstuff security in recent 10 years, guarantee food safety has become an important strategic decision so that supplier selection is a prime concern. In this article, through analyzing the factors when evaluating and choosing strategic cooperation supplier which has important effect on agri-food retailers, the hierarchy model of the agri-food supplier has been constructed. Based on the AHP, the mathematics evaluation model of the agri-food supplier has been established. Take some simulative agri-food suppliers as example, according to the hierarchy model and the mathematics evaluation model of the agri-food supplier, the judgment matrixes of every hierarchy have been established and the weight of each agri-food supplier opposite to the target hierarchy is obtained. The reasonable decision-making method has been provided to choose the agri-food supplier for the agri-food retailers. The results indicate a greatest weight on the dimension of agri-food supplier selection, and four critical evaluation criteria related to agri-food supplier selection are agri-food quality, optimum price, delivery time, and service quality.
