Abstract :
Supply chain management (SCM) has become an important management paradigm. As supply chain members are often separate and independent economic entities, a key issue in SCM is to develop a coordination mechanism that can align their objectives and coordinate their activities so as to optimize system performance. In this paper, we investigate a two echelon supply chain system, in which retail franchising has been applied in its distribution channel, we proposed a Genetic optimization algorithm in supply chain coordination mechanism decision making process through retailer selection, and numerical example has been implemented to demonstrate the efficiency of our method.
