Abstract :
USB bus has been widely used for such features as plug-in and play, easy extensions and high transmission rate (480Mbps in the protocol of USB2.0). The USB controller CY7C68013 is used widely because it has high speed and various interfaces: FPGA, ATA and DSP and so on. The paper introduces how to implement the interface of CY7C68013 and FPGA by hardware description language (HDL). By means of CY7C68013´s Slave FIFO, controllable signals are created in FPGA in Verilog HDL and data are read and written quickly. The hardware and software design are described in detail. The experiment results indicate that this program has the advantages of high-speed data acquisition, outstanding portability and data accuracy. It can be applied to those systems that transmit a lot of data quickly by USB interface.
