Abstract :
A real-time non-uniform rational B-spline (NURBS) curve directly interpolation method is presented for computer numerical control (CNC) machines to achieve the goal of high-speed and highly accurate machining. To the feedrate fluctuation of the interpolation method, the feedrate correction method is also proposed. To implement the proposed methods, Taylor expansion and numerical calculation methods are used. The given example shows that the feasibility of the methods applied to achieve high-speed and high-effect machining.
