Abstract :
A technique for reducing the computational effort involved in the frequency analysis of printed antennas is presented. Using the singular value decomposition, a resonant mode approximation of the resonant part of the structure is achieved that requires only a few frequency samples of the matrix. An application to a proximity-coupled printed dipole is presented.<>
