Abstract :
In the process of gradual improvement of the traffic information system, traffic information data item name and standard compliance testing is one of the key technologies to realize informatization and standardization of transportation industry. In this paper, we propose a new Chinese similarity calculation method, which based on improved edit distance, in order to achieve the purpose that the traffic information data item name are in one-to-one correspondence with the data element name. This method takes the ordinary edit distance algorithm as the basic, and uses the weighted value method, and the words instead of a single Chinese character or characters as basic edit unit involve in operation. At the same time, select headword and give the modifier and headword different weight, and make it more in line with the requirements of Chinese sentence similarity computing. Compared with the ordinary edit distance algorithm, this method is easy to extend, and with higher accuracy.
