Abstract
A QoS aware multi-traffic scheduling scheme is proposed for multiple traffics to exploit the mutltiuser diversity of NRT users with reduced CQI feedback. In the proposed scheme, the urgent RT users are scheduled first, and then both the remaining RT users and the NRT users are scheduled on the remaining resources at the same time. Based on the proposed scheduling scheme, a reduced feedback strategy is designed which combines the best-n feedback and the threshold based feedback together to reduce the feedback overhead. The proposed scheme can significantly improve the system throughput under the condition that the RT users´ QoS requirements are satisfied. Moreover, the uplink CQI feedback overhead can be reduced remarkably at the cost of a marginal increased downlink overhead. Simulation results demonstrated the good performance of the proposed scheduling with reduced feedback.
