Abstract :
Based on the analysis of the human-machine system, the problems about the interface design in current web-based courses were discovered. Under the guidance of Human Factors a new design of the web-based course interface was completed. The interface improvement was achieved in two aspects as follow: (1) the organization form of the interface elements was simplified; (2) the 4-pane structure of the interface window and the joint-action mechanism were proposed and accomplished. As a result, the overall optimization of the learner-computer system was achieved; meanwhile, the goal of quickness, convenience and efficiency was realized.
