Abstract :
Regional forest resource has multi attributes of global and local public good. Based on the empirical research from relative available data in China and the General Linear Mixed-effects Models, this paper finds the regional forest resource has a significant effect on the life expectancy. So the government, whose objective function is to maximize the resident social welfare, should bring the policy of public governance into its objectives. The findings also mean the local and global public governances are compatible and consistent.
