  • Abstract
We have implemented three variants for a display for HMD 3D sensor data. Each can be useful in different DVE situations. Each has advantages and drawbacks depending on DVE situation. Simulation experiments will be set up in order to prove applicability for general situational awareness (display clutter, background occlusion, update rate, pilot acceptance, ...). Some DVE can be tested in simulations, e.g., fog, brown-out, night. Real flight tests would be needed to prove applicability to certain DVE that cannot be easily simulated, e.g., glare, over-illumination.
