Abstract :
The performance of peer-to-peer anonymous communication system relies on all members participating together in the system, but the free-riding behavior caused by the inactive behaviors will decline the performance of the anonymous communication system. In order to decline to the selfish behavior, an anonymous communication strategy based on the idea of different service is proposed with respect to reputation mechanism in this paper, and a method to evaluate the reputation is presented based on the behavior of the participants. The mechanism declines the inactive member the value of reputation by monitoring the amount of messages each other, and makes the members with different reputation obtaining different performance in system. Theory analysis and simulation results show that these systems with reputation mechanism can guarantee the performance of normal members, punish with selfish members by decreasing their anonymity degree and their efficiency, and decline the free-riding behaviors caused by selfish members.
