  • Abstract
    Vendor selection becomes increasingly important for most manufacturing firms as it helps to reduce cost to the bottom line. The selection involves the determination of quantitative and qualitative factors so as to select the best possible suppliers. There are many different characteristics between product and service, the service supplier selection is uncertainty and a multi-level assessment of indicators. In this paper, according to the unique characteristics of the service supply chain and service, It summed up the service provider´s evaluation criteria, and then expatiate the basic principles of the Dempster-Shafer synthesis rule. Finally, There is a example to show that the Dempster-Shafer synthesis rule is efficient, it can guarantee that the multi criteria evaluation could find the accurate and effective service providers on the service supply chain, and it also help the service business decision-maker.
