Abstract :
We developed and installed a new type of telemetry network, using optoelectronic sensors spread out in a local single phase electrical power application, near to the recording centre, communicating reliably, through the electrical power lines, with special type sophisticated transceivers. The transceivers communicate in the regulated D-band (140-148.5 kHz), with a Pulse Position Modulation code type, in order to avoid collisions and minimizing the interference and noise, that may be obstacle the real time sensing-observing system of the UV radiation values, of the 50 Hz electric/magnetic field and of the electromagnetic (EM) radiation as well, very close to the habitation area or working places. In the collection centre we add the option of compare the measured values with the appropriate biological exposure limits and/or to the Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) limits. In our paper we give information of the specialized sensors and transceivers that we developed, and of the measurement-recording unit, accompanied by the results from laboratory applications of this type telemetry, that optimizes the simplicity, reliability and cost.
