Abstract :
Performance modeling now gains much attention and investigation by academic and industrial researchers. This paper is intended to develop a framework named ´semantic performance modeling´ to overcome the problems in practice, since we concluded that the performance model should be subjected to explicit context where it exits. Under this framework, the business process modeling methods are employed to present the context. A combination of Process Specification Language (PSL) and Resource Description Framework (RDF) is adopted to link performance modeling to process modeling. A heuristic method to build up performance models from its contextual process models is then proposed to support the framework.
