Abstract :
Current modeling methods are almost set up on the basis of wearing loss distribution, and they are more suitable for that wearing loss data is systematic and complete, such as the original data is from friction and wearing test under strict controlled conditions. A new method has been presented which is based on mean wearing rate (MWR) distribution. The basic modeling processes are: (1) Set up the distribution function of MWR. (2)Get lots of lifetime samples through Monte Carlo digital simulation of lifetime. (3)Identify the lifetime distribution by Kolmogorov hypothesis testing. (4)Estimate lifetime characteristics. It can be applied to both complete and incomplete data efficiently.
