Abstract :
DC-DC Converters widely used in regulated switch mode power supplies and in dc motor drive applications. Often the input to these converters is an unregulated dc voltage and therefore it will fluctuate due to changes in Line-Voltage magnitude. In this paper the PID controller has been used to overcome this problem. The controller parameters are optimized by using the Bacterial Foraging Algorithm (BFA) to achieve a reasonable transient response with reasonable stability. Also this method is compared with PSO Method and the results are shown.
