  • Abstract
    Uncertain parameters are treated as interval variables and the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model is adopted for fuzzy modeling of nonlinear systems. A robust reliability method for guaranteed cost fuzzy control of uncertain nonlinear systems is presented, by which the reliability of system against uncertainties can be taken into account. Guaranteed-cost control design for uncertain nonlinear system is carried out by solving a set of LMIs subject to robust reliability, in which, both the robustness with respect to uncertainties and the control cost may be taken into account simultaneously. The presented method is in the framework of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and thus can be implemented conveniently. It is demonstrated via numerical simulation of control of a simple nonlinear mechanical system that the presented method is effective and feasible.
