Abstract :
This paper presents the UPM-FBI, a framework for benchmarking the interoperability of semantic Web technologies; it also provides an example of how to use its automatic approach for benchmarking the interoperability of such technologies using OWL as the interchange language. The paper also introduces the OWL Lite import benchmark suite and the IBSE tool, both used in the benchmarking activity, and offers an overview of the OWL interoperability results of the eight tools participating in the benchmarking: GATE, Jena, KAON2, Protege Frames, Protege OWL, SemTalk, SWI-Prolog, and WebODE.
