Abstract
A case history of a paper mill that had used polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) transformers and had to replace these units is presented. Factors in covering the discontinued use of PCBs are discussed, along with justification for removal of PCB-filled transformers. The schedule for replacing the transformers is also discussed.<>
