  • Abstract
    In view of the crudeness and inaccuracy of current assessment index system for cities´ science & technology innovative capability, this paper established a new index system through sustainable development theory and science & technology innovative capability. By taking full advantage of factor analysis method, which is useful and effective in data processing, this paper analysised and calculated accurately the data collected and drew a conclusion. The result shows that usage of factor analysis can address a feasible and workable path for evaluating cities´ science & technology innovative capability, and the conclusion accords with the reality.
