Design of retrieval system for Web images based on semantic analysis

In order to satisfy the requirement of users to automatically retrieve Web images with natural language, a retrieval system for Web images based on semantic analysis is designed in the paper. Compared with the system based on keywords and the system based on content, the retrieval system based on semantic analysis allows users to describe its requirement with natural language. The system would analyze the semantic information and other features about target image, retrieve relevant images from image database and display them to users. The retrieval system would be helpful for users to retrieve images with a more convenient method.
