Abstract
Firms implement political strategies to influence public policy process and achieve competitive advantage over their rivals. This paper identifies 28 political tactics used by firms, and indicates that firms combine these tactics, and firm size, industrial regulatory pressure and national context of firms have important impact on the combinations of corporate political tactics, but industry´s life-cycle stage is of a relatively weak impact on them.
