  • Abstract
This paper reports the design and development of a wideband 400 MHz to 800 MHz and a 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Sierpinski patch antenna and the receiver interface with the patch antenna. The performance of the line up is simulated, analyzed and optimized. The simulations results indicate that a good low and high frequency antenna can be achieved through fractal based technique. The outcome of the design is a >;12dB return loss wideband 400 MHz bandwidth antenna operating from 400-800 MHz. With the presence of the multi-band characteristic, a resonance at 2.4 GHz can together be achieved with >;15dB return loss. Eventually the designed patch antenna can be interacted to the receiving front end and simulated to prove the feasibility of the line as far as RF performance is concerned.
